Our Story
Prajnaa.in is an effort to create a platform for farmers in the Himalayan state who have been cultivating produce of medicinal importance like Turmeric, Fenugreek, Cumin Seeds, etc. in the traditional manner since generations in their ancestral farming land. They use only the non-hybrid indigenous variety of seeds & bio-compost to ensure high-quality natural produce.
It's our endeavor to become a bridge for making this project a symbiotic process: on one hand, we are trying to preserve the age-old traditional way of organic farming along with preserving the indigenous varieties of products. And on the other hand, we are trying to make such products available to people who cherish using them as well as preserving the process.....................continued below

We're a milestone in natural farming. We have complete quality control in our hands, right from sowing the seeds to processing and finally packing the product.
We feel blessed that our ancestors left us such a wonderful and priceless traditional practice which was & is aimed at preserving indigenous varieties of seeds in an auto-pilot mode. However, due to growing migration of youth along with the fact that this type of traditional practice of farming was fast turning out to be economically non-viable it’s practice was on the down-hill big time. Therefore, this platform is an effort in the direction to make this traditional practice viable & popular again.
It is true that we can minimize consulting professional doctors if we can manage to eat unadulterated food & have a lifestyle in accordance with Ayurveda.
We see this as an opportunity that being citizens of an agrarian country along with vast variety of geography & climate, we can produce various items for healthy living.
It’s being increasingly realized that particular geographies’ & climatic conditions help produce the best local products specific to the region. And in line with that we are trying to cultivate or tap most of the items best produced in the Himalayas.
